Pumpkinest is held the first Saturday of October each year in conjunction with the Ryan Norlin Memorial Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off; one of the largest Midwest weigh offs. View some the world's largest pumpkins, watermelons, and long gourds. Enjoy the fun of a true Main Street Festival that includes pumpkin carving displays, a 5k Run/Walk for the Pumpkins, one of the largest parades in all of Iowa, and of course, Giant pumpkins. Vendors galore - artists and crafters, food vendors and local businesses will be open as well. Enter a golf, horseshoe, or bowling tournament. Kids games and activities. Hours: 8am-5pmInformation:
