Description of Event:
A'Fair in Hernando is an annual event that started in August of 1974. It is now held on the third Saturday of May and has grown each year. All of the activities are held on the historic downtown square in Hernando Mississippi. A'Fair in Hernando is a rain or shine event and there is no admission fee and parking is free. The day's activities begin at 7:30 am with a 5K run/walk. Registration is held on Center Street across from the courthouse in the Trustmark Bank parking lot. The artists and crafters have booths on the parking area around the courthouse and down Commerce Street to the Hernando City Hall. There wll be over 200 booths showcasing pottery, water and oil colors, photography, sewn and knitted items, woodcraft, jewelry and everything in between. Several vendors conduct demonstrations to show the making of their craft.Information:
