Description of Event:
Jeff Lewis, star of Bravo’s hit TV show “Flipping Out,” headlines this fall’s 6th Annual Orlando Fall Home and Garden Show being held Sept. 11-13 at the Orange County Convention Center. (Jeff will appear on Saturday only).
For one weekend only, North Hall B at the convention center will be transformed into a home and garden spectacular, with celebrities, local home and garden experts, kitchen and bathroom contractors, interior designers, and much more. In addition, local Central Florida companies will exhibit everything from front entrance décor to backyard landscapes.
Other big names this year are Anne Rue, a local designer and fan favorite from HGTV’s “Design Star” and Tom MacCubbin, from the syndicated radio program “Better Lawns & Gardens.”
New this year is the “Ugly Kitchen” make-over from Affordable Granite Concepts. Attendees are invited to visit the Affordable Granite Concepts booth, submit a photo of their current kitchen and enter to win a $15,000 kitchen makeover (rules at the booth).
Another show attraction is the 2,500-square-foot SODO HOME Design Center’s dramatic exhibit of wood, carpet, tile, stone and custom area rugs.
Other show highlights include landscaping & gardening seminars, plant sale, flu shots, art/gift/gourmet tasting area and a Kids Zone with a Lowe’s workshop, Kids sports courts, balloon animals & face painting, ice skating simulation and a Pet zone with Birds of Prey, Seminars by Critter Encounters, Pet Adoptions by Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, Dog Training Seminars
Orlando Fall Home & Garden Show hours are:
Friday, Sept. 11, noon – 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 13, 11a.m. – 5 p.m.
Prices of show tickets – sold online with credit card and on-site with cash or check only – are:
Adults 17+ - $9
16 & Under – Free
Seniors 65+ - $6 (no additional discounts)
Active Duty Military – Free
E-ticket – $7
