Description of Event:
Pittsburgh Summer Renaissance Festival will be held on August 24-25, 2024. Journey back in time at the 16th century medieval amusement park in West Newton. Join the king, queens and knights in the village of Morelandshire for feasting, revelry, and a marvellous summer. It will feature master revelers, artisans, vendors, sword-fighting, jousting competitions, storytelling, entertainment, music, dance, acts, comedy, delicious food, and more. Watch artisans create original works of their ancient craft and the demonstrations of period skills like blacksmithing, glassblowing, and many more. The marketplace will feature unique works of the ancient crafts including jewelry, clothing and costumes, shoes, weapons, pottery, and many more. This renaissance festival will be held on consecutive weekends from August 24th through September 29th and Labor Day Monday in 2024. Hours: 10:30am-6:30pm both days
