Description of Event:
Harvest Moon Celebration takes place on the last Saturday in October. Starting in 2015, the festival has moved to its new home at Muleshoe Farm and Ranch, a historic, working farm in Comfort, TX. Its theme is fun and energetic with an alternative Halloween twist and lots of exciting things for adults and kiddos. The day is filled with music and activities, entertainment and laughter. Gates open at 12 noon, when you can stroll the grounds, check out the vendors and find a spot under the trees and enjoy live music. At 2 pm and 4 pm you will get an up close look at majestic hawks, falcons, owls, vultures, and other raptors during two presentations by Master Falconer John Karger and the team from Last Chance Forever Bird of Prey Conservancy. This moving exhibition and flight demonstration is not to be missed. At 5 pm the celebration continues with live Celtic music. Get a fun and meaningful reading from our psychic, get a beautiful temporary tattoo from a henna artist, or enjoy browsing the handmade wares of our Hill Country vendors.
