Description of Event:
The Spring Fiber Fling will be held on May 20-21, 2017. It is an educational event focused on fiber and the process from "Sheep to Shawl". It will be a weekend event with various activities to take part in, learn, and purchase anything from art supplies to finished handmade products. Different livestock expos and demonstrations will be going on around the grounds for you to enjoy. There will be 2 buildings set up for the crafters, artisans and fiber related vendors with booths set up to sell everything from fiber art supplies (wool, knitting needles, crochet hooks, cloth, etc.) to finished products (handmade items). The third building set up will have classrooms where you can sign up to take various classes. The instructors will be teaching different skill sets at different experience levels. The classes will consist of, but are not limited to, spinning, weaving, quilting, sewing, knitting, and fiber animal management classes. Hours: Sat 9am-5pm; Sun 9am-4pmInformation:
