It was a 'sweet' celebration at the 20th Annual Texas Onion Fest starting on Friday, April 3, with the 'Pop Rock Onion Concert' Say No to Drugs Youth Rally sponsored by Weslaco ISD. The audience was entertained by outstanding vocalists, break dancers, and dramas. On Saturday, the festivities kicked off with live music on two stages and the lively ""Onion Eating Contests"". The fun lasted all day with two performances by the Dancing Horses, Guitar Hero World Tour Tournament, Arts & Crafts, Car Show, and more. The Arts & Crafts Tent will showcase jewelry, paintings, books, CDs, and other unique items. Vendors set-up their precious items to sell to visitors year after year. Onion Festival is a perfect opportunity to promote your product or service to happy people having a great time. Commercial booths are available for businesses interested in meeting festival guests face to face. The commercial booths will operate from 10 am to 9 pm.
