Experience Queen Creek’s Team Spirit at the Annual Block Party
Get ready to rumble at Queen Creek’s annual Block Party! Calling all sports fans! Do you have team spirit and love showing it off? Is your family the ultimate fan of a football team, baseball team, soccer team or basketball team? Show your spirit and tailgate at the 2018 Queen Creek Block Party on Saturday, March 3 from noon to 6 p.m. on Ellsworth Road in Town Center. Community members are invited to host a tailgating booth at the annual event; three tailgating zones feature Queen Creek’s love of sports!
Each tailgating space will be 15x15 open to tents and chairs, Participants are encouraged to decorate their area with the MOST team spirit; prizes will be given for the best team spirit. Looking to outdo your neighbor? Participants are encouraged to provide a game or activity for event attendees to enjoy. Two tailgating packages are available: a 15x15 space for $25 or a 15x15 space with four drink tickets and VIP parking for $40. The registration deadline for tailgating is Feb. 15. No cars, perishable food or outside alcohol will be permitted. Register for a tailgating space online. Â
Want to join in the fun but can’t commit to tailgating? Embrace your team spirit and come ready to challenge your family and friends as you take a turn on the court, a swing in the batting cages or engage in any of our sports games amongst your fellow community members.
Take a time out with the little ones in a special sports-themed kids zone, or keep an eye on the competition by mixing and mingling throughout the grounds and chatting up your friends and neighbors.
The day will be filled with lots of action, but you can also catch the community acts, music and plenty of food and drink vendors when you need a timeout. A beer garden will be on site for those just looking to relax and enjoy the day. For more information, visit QueenCreek.org/BlockParty.
