Description of Event:
The 34th annual Pensacola Seafood Festival, presented by the Fiesta of Five Flags, was held in historic Seville Square area in downtown Pensacola. This event has been consistently recognized as one of the Top 20 Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. The fantastic seafood for which the Gulf Coast is famous was the highlight of the weekend. Carefully selected food vendors offered a wide variety of seafood dishes and other festival fare. Some highlights from this year's menu included southern style crab cakes, gator bites, blackened mahi mahi, bang bang shrimp, fried crawfish pistolettes, shrimp creole, boudin balls, and shark on a stick. With more than 180 arts and crafts vendors, the Pensacola Seafood Festival is also one of the largest arts and crafts fairs in Northwest Florida.
