Description of Event:

Long known as the Queen City of the Northern Mines, Nevada City’s Victorian elegance supplies the perfect backdrop to showcase Nevada City Uncorked, an annual celebration of wine and food.
  Nevada City Uncorked, a sip-and-stroll event, brings together the best wines, foods, and venues for the event of the season. Each venue, whether it’s a historic location, winery, gallery, inn, restaurant, shop, or secret hide-away, will include wine and food sampling.
  Uncorked is proud to showcase the wines of the north Sierra Foothills, the best, least-discovered wine region in California, This year Uncorked features wineries from Placer, Nevada, Butte, and Tehama Counties. From Albarino to Zinfandel, Uncorked offers a gateway to the wines from California’s northeastern frontier.
  In addition to the wines, Uncorked features a diverse selection of local restaurants, caterers, and specialty shops including a salumeria, sushi, a cheese maker and a chocolatier offering an array of tasty bites and signature flavors. Uncorked encourages a connection, as much as possible, between local farms and participating food purveyors.
