Description of Event:
The Second Christian Congregational Church of Kittery, 33 Government Street, will hold its annual Evergreen Festival this year on Saturday, November 24th, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Highlights of the fair will include a Country Store with baked beans, cheese, homemade pickles, relish, sweet jams and jellies, and much more. Also featured will be home-baked goods, fudge and candy, hand-made gift items, jewelry, wreaths, ornaments, theme baskets, and attic treasures. Prizes for the raffle include a hand-made quilt (90 X 90), gourmet gift basket, an original painting, $75.00 cash, and a framed cross-stitch. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The raffle drawing will be at 2:00 p.m. (attendance not required).
A luncheon will be served from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. and will include a choice of lobster roll, chicken soup, or Moe’s Italian sandwich, all served with dessert and beverage. Breakfast sandwiches will also be available in the morning.
