Description of Event:
City Summer Fest is 17 days of family fun celebrating the beginning of summer and the southern Colorado community at the Colorado Springs Event Center. June 2nd through June 18th will be filled with music, food and fun with one of the best carnivals in the United States. Crabtree amusements will fill the parking lot in front of Colorado Springs Event Center with everything from kiddie rides to the newest extreme thrill rides. During the 17 days, City Summer Fest will feature multiple free live concerts with national recording artists and local bands.
City Summer Fest kicks off June 2nd with a Live concert featuring “Arron Carter” that toured with the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears in the past.
Saturday June 3rd and Sunday June 4th is the Big Boy Toy Expo inside the Colorado Springs Event Center with everything from cars, bikes and vendors geared to dads and families. James McGraw extreme BMX world sensation and former Americas Got Talent finalist will perform along with his BMX extreme team.
Friday June 9th is a free admission live concert featuring “AJR” with their hit single “Weak” which has been certified Gold in the U.S. and Platinum in Australia.
Saturday June 10th is Family Fun Day inside the Colorado Springs Event Center with kid’s activities, games and vendors.
Sunday June 11th 104.9 TIGRE Spanish Radio presents their 7th Annual Women’s Fair with 12 Mexican bands performing live on stage all day including international and reginal recording artists.
Wednesday June 14th is Military Appreciation Day “Flag Day” with live performances by national country recording artists “Runaway June” and “Drew Baldridge” and a military discount all day wrist band to the carnival. Friday June 16th is a free live concert featuring “LOS 5” Winners of the Rising Star Competition, Los 5 is already making a splash in the music world.
Saturday June 17th and Sunday June 18th “Father’s Day” is Wild West Weekend with Gold Canyon Gun Fighters “Show & Town” “Civil War Display” and a Dad rides free carnival pass.
City Summer Fest coordinators are currently accepting vendor applications and looking for vendors of all types that can participate and sell their products at several or all the City Summer Fest 17 days.
