Description of Event:
The Endangered Species Faire is a FREE event for all ages, with environmental education being offered alongside music, eco-entertainment, a rescued animal show, and a larger than life puppet parade.
Activities Throughout the Day:
- Procession of the Species parade
- Live music on stage
- Hands-on learning from over 30 environmental booths.
- Free vegetable starts to get kids working with the soil and learning where their food comes from.
- Zero Waste – we are working with our vendors to achieve 90% of the waste from the day to be recyclable or compostable.
- FREE Bike Valet parking is being provided by Chico Velo.
- An Eco scavenger hunt, hunting for knowledge and collecting experiences – for little prizes.
- Feeling a sense of pride that you are a part of a community so actively involved in environmental causes.
