Description of Event:
West Virginia Renaissance Festival will be held on June 20-21, 2026. Step back in time to welcome King Edward and Queen Eleanor to the village of Essex. This festival will feature jousting and equestrian exhibitions, medieval music and dancing, comedy and sideshow performances, dragons and unicorns, jugglers and magicians, rope walkers and whip crackers, petting farm, games of skill for all ages, savory foods, local brews, and much more. The artisans and merchants selling all sorts of their wares including fine art or folk art. It will be held on consecutive weekends in June 2026. Hours: 11am-8pm both days
