Description of Event:
The Annual Tar River Festival will be held on October 7, 2017. There will be lots of area artisans, business vendors, and many non-profit organizations. The festivities will include BBQ cook off, demonstrations of culture and heritage, 5k Tar River run/walk and more. Kid zone will include inflatables, pony rides, various mechanical rides, and a fantastic face painter. The Switch Band will be providing live music throughout the day and local dance groups will also be performing at the festival. Hours: 10am-5pmInformation:
