Description of Event:
Join us for Summer Festival of the Arts on July 8-9, 2017. The festival is a celebration of the performing and visual arts, prominently including a juried art show featuring the works of local, regional and national artists. There will be music, dance and theatrical performances throughout the festival ground that complements the art and attracts a diverse and fun crowd. The festival includes a Friday night concert, Youngstown Wine and Jazz concert, a Gospel concert, and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Summerfest. Other activities designed to enhance the Summer Festival of the Arts include the Festival of Nations, where ethnic groups display artifacts and sell food, an extensive children's hands-on art tent, a silent auction and much more.
