Description of Event:
55th Annual Mountain Laurel Festival - One of longest running arts and crafts festival in Georgia. Parade. Fine art and craft vendors located in and around the Square. An outdoor food court. Expanded children's activities; including rock climbing walls, hamster wheels and inflatables. The Historic Mauldin House, Millinery Shop and Big Holly Cabin will be open for guided tours;. Live entertainment acts throughout the day on the square. Afternoon Duck Race in Soque River. Vendors on The Square in Clarkesville are original/handmade art and craft items; to include but notlimited to pottery, woodwork, jewelry, clothing and accessories, needlework, photography, painting, sketches, basketweaving, floral arrangements, wreaths, metal work, candles, glass work, pet items, leather goods and food products. It'll also have a section on the Square for commercial products or information. Hours: 10am-5pmInformation:
