Description of Event:
The 54th Annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival will be held on May 5, 6 and 7, 2017. The free admission Shrimp Festival offers boatloads of fresh seafood and shrimp dishes, all prepared by local non-profit and civic organizations. The Festival's Fine Arts and Crafts show offers more than 300 award-winning artists and craftspeople, including jewelry, photography, pottery and much more. Browse through 75 booths of Antiques and Collectibles. Let the kids have their own good time in the Kids Fun Zone. Live Music on two stages, contests, and Pirates to entertain you. Bask in the breeze coming off the Amelia River as you watch the decorated Shrimp Boats glide by. Located in the historic downtown business district, enjoy the eclectic assortment of retail shops, pubs and restaurants. Hours: Fri, 6pm-10:30pm; Sat, 9am-6pm; Sun, 10am-5pmInformation:
