Description of Event:
The annual Brushy Mountain Apple Festival, one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast, will be held on Oct 7, 2017. The streets of downtown North Wilkesboro, NC will be lined with more than 400 arts and crafts exhibitors and 100 food concessions. There will be four different music stages consisting of Blue Grass, Gospel, Country, Folk, and Appalachian Heritage. Cloggers, rope skippers, folk dancers, and square dancers provide additional fun entertainment venues for festival visitors. Another feature will be Appalachian Heritage crafts being highlighted such aswoodcarving, soap making, pottery throwing, chair making, and quilting. Free admission. Hours: 8am-5pmInformation:
