Description of Event:
Yorkfest is a premier fine arts and music festival held along the Codorus River in historic downtown York. Yorkfest features a weekend of 100 select fine artists from all around the country, the Creative York juried exhibition at the Agricultural and Industrial Museum, the Creative York Family Pavilion in the Gates and Plough Tavern Courtyard with free family entertainment and interactive arts activities, a free community jazz concert in the Capitol Theatre on Saturday night, ChalkWalk, youth art exhibit and awards ceremony, walking tours of the York Murals, tours and demonstrations at the Colonial Court House Complex, Art Cars, and much more.
