Description of Event:
The Southern Oregon World of Wine Festival is the premier multi-day wine and food festival in Southern Oregon. The hallmark of the festival is the Wine Competition, which attracts some 200+ wines made exclusively from grapes grown in Southern Oregon. The wines are judged by a panel of some of the top wine experts in the country, typically including one or more Masters of Wine ("MW"). In addition to the Wine Competition, the festival features numerous wine sensory classes for all levels of wine aficionados, as well as special wine dinners. The festival culminates in the Grand Tasting, which provides attendees the opportunity to sample all of the award winning wines and enjoy fabulous food and music as well, all in a beautiful historic setting in Jacksonville, Oregon.
