Salem Wednesday Markets are gathering places in the community with live music, good food and special events unique to each market. The open-air markets run from May through October, on Wednesdays rain or shine. Over 200 local vendors bring their farm produce, meats, cheeses, specialty food, cut flowers, nursery plants, handcrafted items and freshly prepared food to sell each week. All products offered are grown, raised or hand crafted by the person who sells it. Customers have come to rely on our vendors when looking for high quality, locally produced goods. Tables and chairs under the trees and around the market make it a pleasant place to enjoy lunch, stock up on fresh fruits and veggies for home, pick up a gift or just watch people.
