Members of the Weavers Guild hold an annual sale each November, the weekend before Thanksgiving, called the Weavers and Fiber Artists (WAFA) Sale at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds. All items in the sale are handmade.There is always a wide variety of table linens, towels, baby blankets, hats, scarves and mittens. Some artists specialize in weaving fabric for coats or shawls, others in rugs and warm blankets. Others weave beautiful wall hangings. The Christmas ornaments are very popular and gift items such as small felted mice, squirrels and birds go very quickly. The sale has hand woven totes and purses, jewelry and other fashion accessories. All knitted items are knit of hand spun yarn. Skeins of yarn are available and are some of the best sellers. Hours: Thu, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Fri, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Sat, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.Information:
