Description of Event:
2015 will be the 40th Peony Festival. The Peony Festival is a weekend of free family entertainment. Parade, Craft Show, Fishing Derby, Artrageous on Main, Car Show, Garden Tour, Peony Pace 5k Run and Kids Fun Run, Pet Show, and more. Artists from across Ohio and Indiana exhibit and sell their original artwork; kids and families enjoy free games and entertainment, and a great selection of events all combine for a fun Friday and Saturday. Friday night is the kick-off to the Fountain Park Music Series, with a free concert from the park stage. Saturday culminates in the Grand Peony Parade through Van Wert along historic Washington Street. Hours: Fri 11-9, Sat 11-5Information:
