Join us at the eighth annual Taylor Street Italian Festival: Festa Italiana! If you're Italian, love Italy or just great food this is the place to be from August 14-17, at Taylor Street and Ashland Ave. Chicago's Little Italy neighborhood will celebrate its history and heritage in this Italian Festival over the course of four-days. Authentic Italian activities, delectable Italian cuisine, and great live entertainment will highlight this magnifico event. The Fest Italiana will put Chicagoans' appetites to the test, as a meatball eating contest will challenge some of the city's best amateur competitive eaters. For those of you who have always wanted to take part in the authentic wine making process, now is your chance! Attendees will be able to experience firsthand what it's like to make wine overseas and will be encouraged to kick off their shoes and participate in a special grape stomping.
