Description of Event:
The 41st annual Taos Fall Arts Festival will feature art, craft, music, street art, film, performance, and more. The Taos Select is a staple of the Taos Arts Scene. An Annual Exibition, the Select is the Juried portion of the Taos Fall Arts Festival. Along with the Taos Open, it is a cornerstone of the festival attracting hundreds of Artists and Applicants from across Taos County. In addition, the Taos Fall Arts Festival includes free community performance of dance and music at the site of the Taos Select, open-house and guided tours at public art collections like the Taos Volunteer Fire Department, Holy Cross Hospital and others, satellite theater presentations by Taos Onstage and Metta Theater, plus additional satellite art shows throughout Taos. Opening weekend also features the Taos Chamber of Commerce Arts and Crafts Fair in Kit Carson Park, the Taos Center for the Arts "Quickdraw" and auction and Trade Fair Days at Martinez Hacienda.
