Corridor springs to life this summer when Summer on Southport takes over Waveland and Southport July 18-19, 2015. The event will feature an eclectic mix of fine art by day and rockin' music at night, setting the tone for a picture-perfect Chicago neighborhood street festival. The two-day festival will showcase some of the city's best and most diverse artists. Summer on Southport will put various art forms including oil, acrylic, watercolor, jewelry, sculpture, photography, wood, fiber, glass, paper, metal, and mixed media at center stage all weekend long. A special children's area will be designated and filled with interactive games and activities that will make for a memorable time. Hours: Saturday from 11:00 am to 10:30 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pmInformation:
