Description of Event:
Stiftungsfest, ""A Founders Day Celebration"" and Minnesota's oldest celebration, is held the last full weekend in August in Willkommen Park, Norwood Young America, Minnesota. Highlights include old time and German music under The Big Tent... Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Main Street will be busy with a huge Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning brings a free Car Show. A variety of ethnic food will be available including roast beef dinners and the famous hamburgers served in the Pavilion, brats and kraut, ice cream, Schell's 1919 root beer and German beer served in the Beer Garden and under The Big Tent.
