Yellow tulips Tulip Time is held the first Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in May. The festival celebrates Pella's Dutch Heritage with parades, stage performances, a Dutch market, street scrubbings, and quilt and flower shows. Catch a glimpse of life in The Netherlands as the Historical Village comes alive in a whirl of crafts, Dutch Street organ music, dancing and food. The quaint buildings and beautiful tulip gardens are a "touch of Holland." During the festival the village is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.Information:
