The Collegians have been playing shows, dances, fairs and festivals for over 30 years. This band, known for ""Carolina Beach Music"" has become well diversified in musical styles. Just as the Carolina beach music tradition has evolved to embrace several styles of music, so have The Collegians. While still providing plenty of good shaggin' tunes, the band incorporates some infectious ""Soul"" and RandB grooves The great songs recorded at Motown, Atlantic, ATCO, Stax, Volt, Chess, Polydore and many others make up the musical focus of the Collegians!
