Description of Event:

he South East Craft Beer Fest is going to be held in Columbia, Missouri. Why Columbia? Columbia is the home to a population of avid craft beer enthusiasts. With 5 craft breweries in town, over 130 bars and 300+ restaurants, the opportunity to enjoy a craft beer is readily available. Mix in the multiple colleges and universities, as well as the growing diverse population base aside from the schools, this town has a taste for every region of the country.

In an effort to further the reach and enjoyment of craft beers from the south east region of the United States. That is where we came up with the idea of inviting in breweries from all over the southeast which are currently not available in Missouri for retail at all. This idea also sprung from observing which breweries were being requested at local establishments, which states have little to no representation, and the general consumer tastes of the area seeking out new opportunities to taste and purchase craft beers. The Fest is being held to celebrate craft beers currently unavailable in the State of Missouri, with Logboat Brewing being the lone exception.

The passion for craft beer in the community, combined with the unique nature of availability, provides the South East Craft Beer Fest with a tremendous opportunity to not only expose each attending brewery’s products to a whole new market, but also for the attendees to possibly try new craft beers for the first time.
