Description of Event:
The 2nd Annual Shriners Chili & Wing Cook Off On The Miracle Mile will be held on Saturday May 30, 2015. The festival, which takes place on Park Avenue West in Mansfield, will kick off at 1pm with the Kids Safety & Fun Day as well as the Car, Bike & 4×4 Show. At 3pm emcee Tommy Barnes of WMAN will officially open the Chili & Wing Cook Off and get the competition fired up. The Chili & Wing Cook Off will feature contestants from four divisions (Restaurants, Corporate, Non-Profit and Amateur).
This year’s event will have something for everyone. The Blues & Jazz festival will kick off at 3pm with live performances by several notable Blues & Jazz Bands. At 8:30pm headliner, The Jimi Vincent Band will take the stage until close. The Jimi Vincent Band has played throughout the United States and have won countless awards at large Blues & Jazz Festivals.
Also new for 2015 will be the Chili Dog, Jalapeno, and Wing Eating Contest as well as the Sand Volleyball Tournament and Cornhole Tournament. The Chili & Wing Cook Off Tent will also feature performances local musicians and a wide variety of different types of Chili & Wings. Food Vendors will also be on hand in the Superior Beverage – Miller Lite Beer Garden.
