Expect world-class straight ahead jazz alongside Latin jazz, salsa, RandB, funk, smooth jazz, fusion, world music and more. Artists you'll see: Recent Grammy winners- from emerging Texas collective Snarky Puppy to celebrated San Francisco Latin big band Pacific Mambo Orchestra; New York Latin jazz powerhouse Pedrito Martinez; bass legend Bootsy Collins, who rose to prominence playing with James Brown and Parliament-Funkadelic; Monty Alexander and the Harlem-Kingston Express; a unique collaboration of San Jose Taiko with The Bangerz; jazz/blues vocalist Catherine Russell; and the Otonowa Project, spearheaded by acclaimed drummer Akira Tana, which re-imagines celebrated Japanese folk melodies through the lens of jazz.Information:
