Description of Event:
Come enjoy the thirty-seventh annual Balloon A-Fair festival. Join us on the Saturday, September 19, in beautiful downtown Ravenna, for a spectacular 90-minute Grand Parade with more than 125 units. After the Parade, the crowd can visit craft booths, displays and food concessions that will line the downtown area. Live entertainment will be performed on the East Stage, West Stage and at Children's Alley. Children of all ages will enjoy Children's Alley with games and a variety of children's amusement rides. The festival will continue at Sunbeau Valley Farm located at 3229 St. Rt. 59, one and a half miles from downtown Ravenna. At the farm there will be craft booths, a craft tent, food concession, business displays, children's amusement rides and more. Higher Ground Helicopters will be offering helicopter air rides for a small fee on Saturday and Sunday. A hot air balloon launch is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. It is a spectacular sight when 20 hot air balloons lift off. At dark there will be a Gigantic Fireworks Display. Food and entertainment will continue on through the evening and the live entertainment will continue until 11:00 p.m. On Sunday, September 20, the day will feature the Antique Tractor Show, Annual BAF Classic Car Show, Live entertainment throughout the day. At 5:30 p.m., the final ascension of 20 Hot Air Balloons will bring the 2015 Ravenna Balloon A-Fair to a close.Information:
