Description of Event:
Pittsburg Pioneer Days, which started in 1973, draws thousands of people into Historic Downtown Pittsburg. The festival was named in honor of the Pioneering Spirit of Pittsburg/Camp County. On Saturday, arts, crafts and retail vendors line the main downtown street and a wide variety of food is available at the food court - everything from cotton candy to turkey legs to barbecue. Saturday activities also include the parade, live entertainment on the Courthouse Stage and kids activities, including jump houses and Games. There is a biker run, Cowboy Shoot out, dancing Indians, Chicken Scratch Bingo. If you're really up for a challenge, enter the hot link eating contest. Hours: 9am-10pmInformation:
