Description of Event:
The Piney Woods Wine Festival is held annually on the picturesque downtown plaza in Mt. Vernon, TX. on the third weekend in May. It is comprised of the 17 wineries that make up the Piney Woods Wine Trail. From the sweet to the bold and everything in between, it can all be found here. Admission is $5 per person and tastings are $1 each. Wine is available by the tasting, the glass, or the bottle. Come see the art vendors, crafts, food and live entertainment. Hours: 5-9pm on Friday and 10am-5pm on SaturdayInformation:
