Description of Event:
A free long event in Historic Downtown Apex. The 3rd Annual Peak City Pig Fest is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS), the nation's leading BBQ sanctioning body. Cook teams from all over the country will come to compete against each other for prize money cooking chicken, ribs, beef brisket and pork. Beer garden, Music, Vendors and more. Activities begin at 9:00 am, music begins at 11:00 am. Beer Garden open from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Please remember Apex Town Ordinance prohibits dogs at street festivals, so please NO DOGS ALLOWED!Information:
