Description of Event:

Each spring, Gwinnett Humane Society hosts PAWfest, a community awareness event that strives to educate the public on pet-related issues while celebrating the human-pet bond. In 2010, 2011, & 2012 we are also proud to share that PAWfest was voted as one of Gwinnett’s Best Local Festivals in Gwinnett Magazine’s Best of Gwinnett.
Here are some of the events included in last year’s PAWfest:
-Pet-related demonstrations, including agility, obedience, and more
- Educational booths focused on pet health & safety, including feeding, training, grooming, and more
-Low-cost Rabies and Microchip clinic
- Pack Hike led around the Camp Creek Greenway
- Our exciting Silent Auction and PAWfest Raffle
- Our popular Dog Contests
- Vendor and Pet Rescue booths
Over the past 20 years, PAWfest has grown both as an educational experience and a fun family event. In 2013, over 1,500 people and their pets attended PAWfest. We are excited to announce that PAWfest 2014 will relocate to Lilburn City Park. With our new location and partnership with the City of Lilburn, we think 2014 we be an even bigger and better event for our community!
PAWfest 2014 will be held Saturday, May 10th from 10:00AM to 4:00PM at Lilburn City Park at 76 Main Street NW ~ Lilburn, GA 30047. Our Pack Hike starts at 9:30AM.
