Description of Event:
Oro Valley Art Festival will be held on October 17 - 18, 2015. Located in the Rooney Ranch/Target Center on Oracle Rd. and North 1st Ave., Oro Valley, AZ. on the north side of Tucson and south of Rancho Vistoso and SaddleBrooke in the Target Shopping Center which is one of the busiest intersections in N/W Tucson. The show will be held in the center of the parking lot adjacent to Target and Oracle Road. The festival features a variety of oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, pencil art, photography, and mixed media. Also included are sculptures in glass, metal, bronze, and stone. You will also see hand thrown clay, raku pottery, creative woodwork, leather, fiber and fine jewelry. Within these art mediums you will find a mixture of Southwestern, Native American, Abstract, Wild life traditional and contemporary. Specialty foods and a variety of music may also be included.
