Description of Event:
The Gullah Festival annually takes place every Memorial Day weekend. The 2015 festival is May 21-24 in Beaufort, South Carolina. New for 2015, is the ALL WHITE Concert featuring Recording Artists Randy Skinner and Skin-Tones in Pursuit. Enjoy an evening under the stars filled with music, dance and fun. Beer and Wine will be available for purchase at the Friday Night concert only. Join us for 3 days of arts, crafts, music, food and fun for the whole family. Activities will include Storytelling, Facepainting, Bounce Houses, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Gospel, Reggae, and Caribbean Music, African Drumming and Dancing, Native American Heritage, Educational Forums, Black Inventors Museum, Arts and Crafts, Vendors Market, Food Court, Family Day, Teen Pageant, and Re-dedication of the Historical Marker in Port Royal. Join us Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5-8pm for the Panel Discussion. The gates for the festival will open Friday (10am to 11pm), Saturday (10am to 11pm) and Sunday (9am to 6pm).Information:
