Description of Event:
Annual Olustee Arts and Crafts Festival on Feb 17-18. The festival features homemade Arts and Crafts from vendors all over the United States, Food and Entertainment of all kinds, and a Kids Area featuring Bounce Houses, Pony Rides, Rock Climbing Walls, Train Rides and much much more. The festival will feature an annual re-enactment of a Civil War Batte between the North and the South. Hundreds of re-enactors come from miles around to participate in this historical event. The re-enactment is located at nearby Olustee Battlefield State Park, Florida's first state park. Once stepping into the park you are transported back in time as you take in the sights and sounds of the re-enactment. Medical demonstrations, cavalry tactics, artillery firings, army encampments, drill and ceremonies and much more cover the three day event! Battles take place on Saturday and Sunday. The official re-enactment of the Battle of Olustee takes place on Sunday, Feb 19. Hours: 9am-6pmInformation:
