2016 marks the 38th anniversary of the Annual Oil Heritage Festival. The festival honors the area's rich heritage that resulted from the discovery of petroleum and the "oil boom" that occurred along Oil Creek in the mid-1800s. The 38th Annual Oil Heritage Festival will be held in downtown Oil City, Pennsylvania July 21 thru July 24 and promises lots of summer fun for everyone. Daily evening ""Concerts in the Park"" along the scenic Allegheny river are complemented by a host of food vendors, fireworks displays, artisan craft fair, large parade, and over two dozen additional events that take place throughout the community. You won't want to miss annual favorites such as the Children's Parade, Kids Fun Fair, YWCA Spaghetti Supper, Ice Cream Social and the 14th Annual Car and Motorcycle Cruise-In.
