Come join us for the 34th Annual NC Oyster Festival, October 18-19, 2014 and find out for yourself why the oyster is so treasured by Brunswick County natives. The beach center becomes a walking district that offers something for everyone: local cuisine, arts and crafts, children's activities, live music, Oyster Stew Cook-off Contest and the Oyster Shucking Contest. It will also have an Oyster Eating Contest as well as a shag competition where folks will compete for the ""Shaggin' Oyster"" titles. Hours: Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PMInformation:
