Description of Event:
This will be the 30th anniversary of our community celebration. With support from you, local businesses and civic organizations, we are hoping to make it the best festival ever. This year's theme is ""30 Years and Still Ridin' "". Although we are still discussing new ideas and working out details on others, you can rest assured that the events that you have enjoyed in the past will again be a part of this year's festival. The golf tournament, kiddie parade, softball games, Grand Parade, 5K run, Antique Car Run finish, Car Show, Idol Contest and activities at the park including the petting zoo will all again be features of this year's festival. We have booked our major bands, High Noon for Friday and New Brighton's own EBGB for Saturday. We have given our Mustang Guy the year off and replaced that raffle with a Cash Raffle in hopes of spreading the wealth to more residents during an economy when we could all use a bit of help.
