Description of Event:
The Natural Fiber Fair is now located in the quaint college town of Arcata, California up the highway from its former location of Redway, CA. Every hour there are several demos and workshops to choose from. Learn about basket weaving, natural dyeing, spinning, knitting, felting, making rope from plant fibers, and more! Children can learn fiber skills as well in the kids' crafts zone. The vendors offer free demonstrations as well as hands-on workshops with a small materials fee. Vendors from northern California and Oregon bring fiber, tools, books, finished products, and much more.Information:
