Description of Event:
The Anton Art Center presents the 2012 Mount Clemens Art Fair. The fair takes place in picturesque downtown Mount Clemens, a small-scale urban landscape with retailers, restaurants and nightclubs. The Anton Art Center has hosted a fine arts fair for over 30 years. The 2011 Mount Clemens Art Fair drew approximately 8,000 visitors. The first day of the 2012 fair will be held in conjunction with the Hot Rod Power Tour preview night.
Artists working in and exhibiting all media are invited, including ceramic, painting, photography, jewelry, metalwork and more. $850 in cash prizes will be awarded to the most outstanding artists of the fair. Artists will also be invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings. Participating artists are invited to conduct artist demonstrations. The Anton Art Center will publicize demos to attract a more discerning art fair patron, along with artist attendees.
