Description of Event:
The festival has grown to encompass two tree lined streets in the historic Montford community. Most of the homes in The Montford Music and Arts Festival is the largest one day music and arts festival in Western North Carolina and May 16th of 2015 will be its 12th year of continuous operation. Over 100 vendors of art, crafts, plants, food and children's activities are located on Montford Avenue and Soco Streets just down from the Asheville Visitors Center. Two stages, one on each street, offer the perfect setting for non-stop entertainment and over 20 bands and musical acts. Parking is throughout the neighborhood. While it is unlawful in Asheville to have pets on the street during a festival, it offer a Doggy Daycare so you can still enjoy the festival in case you forget to leave your pet at home.Information:
