Description of Event:
Miner's Blast (formerly Erie Harvest Fest) will be held on October 4, 2014. Over 1,000 pumpkins fill the man-made pumpkin patch. Children are allowed one free pumpkin each! Free hay rides at specified times. Garage Rats Car Club will host the event's car show. Autumn decorations and holiday gifts are available for purchase from the many participating craft vendors. Seasonal food vendors are on-site throughout the day. The Children's Pet Parade and Contest is a highlight, as is the annual Guns vs. Hoses Softball Challenge between the Erie Police Department and Mountain View Fire Rescue.Information:
