Description of Event:
Event will be held on September 25-27, 2015. The Medicine Lodge Peace Treaty re-enactment compresses 300 years of history into two hours of entertainment and education. Set against the panoramic backdrop of the timeless Red Hills and the Kansas sky, the Pageant commemorates the diverse cultures of the "Discoverers, Explorers, and Settlers" mixed with the native peoples of the Central Plains. Live music for the 2015 Peace Treaty will feature Aranda, Lucky People, and Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy. Don't miss the annual Kansas Championship Ranch Rodeo, featuring working cowboys competing in events much like the day work on their ranches. The Cowboy Trappings and Trade show, Ranch Horse Show and Kerry Kuhn colt starting demonstration will make the event unforgettable.Information:
