Description of Event:
For the last 35 years, the Pioneer Day festival has been a proud part of Lafayette County Florida. Every year thousands of people join Mayo in the celebration of the pioneer spirit that made America and the South great. You are welcome to join this year's festival on the second weekend in October. The Pioneer Day Festival will return to the theme of the original Pioneer Day celebration when goods were hand-crafted by the early settlers of Lafayette County. It'll have canning and craft demonstrations, re-enactments, and of course, fun for the whole family, so make plans to attend this years festivities! Hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pmInformation:
